Despite the weather outside, spring is in the air with the arrival of “Canada Blooms!” This annual and highly anticipated event will be held at the Direct Energy Centre on March 17-21, 2010. Canada Blooms: The Flower and Garden Festival includes acres of breath-taking gardens and flowers in full bloom and many shopping venues, exhibits and events. The show offers over 200 hours of seminars, workshops and demonstrations within the five days and its hosts include many Gardening experts from all over North America.
This year’s highlights include; Scotts Canada “Ask the Experts” Gazebo, Wine and Cheese Tasting in the Niagara Garden, Enbridge Garden Speaker Series, Garden Hall Horticultural and Design Competition and so much more!
Advanced tickets can be bought on www.canadablooms.com for the low price of $16, and all other tickets can be purchased daily for $18 (adult rate) and $16 (students and Senior). If you are interested in a lower rate for this event, you may consider the RBC after 5pm rate, allowing visitors to attend from 5pm till closing only for the low price of $14.
Canada Blooms is located at the Direct Energy Centre at 100 Princes Boulevard, located 4 km west of downtown Toronto and is accessible via the Gardiner Expressway or Lakeshore Boulevard. The exhibition will be open Wednesday March 17-Saturday March 20, 10am -8pm and Sunday March 21, 10am-6pm.
This year’s theme is “Passion” and hopefully after attending this sought-after event, you too will be filled with the passion to create your ideal garden this spring.
